// The support programme

How we back
a venture.

Capital is rarely the only thing missing. Our programme pairs investment with the operational support that decides whether good science reaches a market.

// The stages

Five stages,
agreed up front.

Nothing here is unusual. Saying it plainly is the point — you should know what happens next at every stage.

  1. 01

    Scope

    Understanding the science, the stage it has reached, and what is actually blocking the next milestone.

  2. 02

    Diligence

    Technical and commercial assessment — the data, the IP position, the route to a regulated product.

  3. 03

    Investment

    Capital committed against defined milestones, with the terms and reporting agreed up front.

  4. 04

    Build

    AI-supported design cycles, laboratory sourcing and supply, and the hands-on work of getting to a result.

  5. 05

    Scale

    Regulatory navigation, distribution and market entry across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

// How we engage

We sit inside
the loop.

Not a passive cheque. We work between the research that generates a candidate and the market that has to accept it.

  1. 01

    Research & founders

    Spin-outs and founders with a candidate.

  2. 02

    LYT Consultancy

    Invests, designs with AI, supports.

  3. 03

    Development partners

    CROs and manufacturers who take it forward.

  4. 04

    Clinical & diagnostic labs

    Where assays and candidates are put to work.

  5. 05

    Market access

    Regulatory route and GCC distribution.

// Beyond capital

What the money comes with.

The operational half of the programme is usually the half that decides the outcome.

AI-supported design capability

The same computational design, screening and optimisation we use on our own development work, applied to yours. For most early ventures this is capability they could not staff for. How it works ↗

Sourcing and laboratory supply

Reagents, proteins, culture media, consumables and instrumentation, with documented provenance. A programme should not lose a month to a purchase order.

Regulatory navigation

Registration pathways and the practical route to a regulated product across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

Market access and distribution

A regional route to market, including appointed distributor representation for principals entering the region. Reach and related areas ↗

A named point of contact

Someone who has read your science and stays with the programme, rather than a shared inbox.

// What we look for

Before we
commit.

We would rather answer these honestly than leave a founder guessing.

  • Is there a real experimental result?

    Not a finished product — a result. Something measured, that a technical reader can assess. Ideas without data are not something we can price.

  • Is the next milestone definable?

    We invest against milestones, so there has to be a next step both sides can describe and recognise when it arrives.

  • Is the IP position defensible?

    Not necessarily granted, but understood. Knowing where you stand is enough at an early stage; not having looked is not.

  • Is there a route to a regulated product?

    Someone should have thought about it. It does not have to be solved, but a programme with no conceivable regulatory path is a research project, not a venture.

  • Can we actually help?

    If the thing you need is not something we do, we will say so and point you elsewhere rather than take a position we cannot support.
